This week we are so excited to feature one of our ultimate girl crushes, content creator, media entrepreneur, and Web3 advocate Shira Lazar. Shira is an Emmy-nominated host and interviewer covering social media, culture, wellness, empowerment, and Web3.
Q. What was the first coin you bought? Some bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin in 2018.
Q. If you were gifted $1k, what coin or NFT would you be buying more of? Probably both Bitcoin and Ethereum still. NFT's- I would get another Boss Beauties or Adam Bomb Squad.
Q. Any new crypto or NFT projects or artists you are buying more of or watching out for? AVAX and Fantom.
Q. Best piece of investing advice someone gave you? You learn by playing the game. Don't get discouraged when you make mistakes. Learn quickly and keep going. Also, buy low and sell high!
Q. What is a piece of advice you would like to give to others that are just starting out? Just start, do your own research and keep learning! Have a group of people who are in the space you can connect with and get honest advice from as you get started and along your journey. Also, don't spend money you don't have and diversify your investments. It's ok to have some of your money in Web3 and some in traditional investments/savings that make sense for you.

Q. Anything else happening with Remarkable Women or any other ventures that our community should know about?
Remarkable Women continues to build and give our community access to amazing experiences for women in the Web3 space. We also have some fun announcements coming up including some fashion ;)
I'm also working with Pledge- a fundraising platform for nonprofits. They recently launched Ariana Grande's fundraiser for Trans Visibility Day and are one of the only platforms that allow you to donate to causes with regular currency and cryptocurrency. I recently became a founding member of BFF too, which is a great female community for women and non-binary individuals in the space providing a ton of education.
On the coin side, I'm an advisor to Polydoge on Polygon who just launched their NFT MetaPetz. MUSKGOLD and I'm excited to see how they use tokens to incentivize actions around environmental sustainability like using electric or solar energy.
